Job summary

Leggett & Platt is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot a range of machinery and facility systems. This role supports production, performs tank, plumbing, and pump maintenance, and adheres to strict safety and lockout/tagout procedures.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 18 years old, with a preference for those with prior maintenance experience in manufacturing environments and experience around railcar and tank truck unloading

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• One year of maintenance technician experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Demonstrates strong safety adherence and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review maintenance work orders and preventive schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Analyze recurring machinery issues and implement permanent repair solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pump systems.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other equipment as needed.
• Support pourline operations and assist with production equipment when required.
• Follow all safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures.
