Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Proficient in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems; air compressors, motors, bearings.
• Strong welding, electrical (120-480V) and control system troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics.
• Manual dexterity for repairs; ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machines and equipment (mills, blenders, conveyors, pulverizes, crushers, etc.)
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing and facility machinery
• Troubleshoot mechanical components of PLCs and collaborate with engineers on electrical/programmable issues
• Utilize CMMS to enter, review, and close work orders and preventative maintenance orders
• Communicate downtime events, solutions, and lead times with the production team
• Maintain a clean working station and inventory of parts and tools
• Request quotes from vendors, order parts, inspect received parts for quality, and approve installation
• Serve as an expert in all things maintenance-related and facilitate training as requested
• Comply with all safety protocols (PPE, lockout/tag out, confined spaces)
