Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician in Memphis to perform inspection, diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair of steel packaging equipment and related systems. You will work on machinery from motors to pumps, document maintenance in the CMMS, and follow lockout/tagout safety practices.

Your duties include reading blueprints, planning jobs, and applying mechanical and basic electrical knowledge to service conveyors, gearboxes and hydraulics while

Qualifications

• Industrial Maintenance Certification/Degree required.
• Experience in a Manufacturing environment.
• Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training.
• Read and interpret blueprints, properly use shop mathematics.
• Demonstrate and apply principles for installing, maintaining and repairing industrial equipment.
• Safety practices and lockout/tagout procedures knowledge.
• Understand hydraulics/pneumatics/mechanics/electrical basics.
• Ability to estimate costs and use basic engineering/drafting concepts; basic computer applications.
• Must work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspection, diagnosis, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and related systems.
• Installs, replaces and repairs mechanical and basic electrical equipment in the assigned area.
• Conducts testing with hand tools, gauges and measuring devices; maintains CMMS records.
• Plans and lays out jobs from blueprints and drawings with documented specifications.
• Adheres to lockout/tagout procedures and safety guidelines.
• Researches operational methods and equipment for improvements.
• Ensures timely completion of preventative maintenance activities.
