Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions in Memphis, TN seeks an Assembly Line Maintenance Technician/Operator responsible for running the line, ensuring product quality, performing preventive maintenance, and repairing line machinery to sustain production uptime.

You will follow all safety rules, read blueprints and schematics, use precision meters and gauges, troubleshoot issues, and keep the work area clean and compliant with Lockout/Tagout procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret procedure manuals, blueprints, schematics, charts, diagrams.
• Ability to use precision measuring devices including amp meters, electric meters, and hydraulic gauges.
• Basic understanding of systems, equipment and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to perform math including decimals and fractions.
• Capable of following instructions and maintaining professional conduct.
• Commitment to safety policies and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Follow all work instructions and safety policies, including PPE and safety equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on production equipment and machinery.
• Repair basic mechanical components and replace parts on machines.
• Observe and listen to machinery to locate causes of problems.
• Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts.
• Lubricate and clean machinery to maintain standards and uptime.
• Complete work orders to improve safety, reduce downtime, and enhance plant efficiency.
• Adhere to Lockout/Tagout procedures and maintain safe working environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
