Job summary

Ryerson is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a broad range of plant and facilities maintenance tasks, including working with the company computer system and preventive maintenance programs. Successful candidates will have 3–5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, knowledge of coil processing equipment, and the ability to pass OSHA and other on-site requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Knowledge of coil processing equipment and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain plant equipment on a daily basis, including processing and material handling equipment.
• Promote and demonstrate a safe work environment.
• Comply with maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance programs.
• Train and supervise operators on daily maintenance tasks for equipment.
• Coordinate outside maintenance services as required.
