Job summary

Tyson Foods in the United States (KY) is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility equipment while ensuring a safe work environment. You will work with PLCs, motors, pumps, conveyors and hydraulics to improve systems and processes.

The role requires 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or an Industrial Maintenance program graduate. Shift flexibility, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and adherence to safety procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or graduation from an Industrial Maintenance program.
• Willingness to work off shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a wet, humid, cold and hot environment.
• Must pass background checks where required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility and production equipment with precision.
• Use CMMS to plan and document maintenance activities and follow up.
• Read blueprints and electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic schematics to diagnose issues.
• Work with PLCs, motors, pumps, and conveyors to improve systems and processes.
• Fabricate and weld metal components as needed to support maintenance.
• Adhere to LOTO, arc-flash, hot-work and confined-space safety procedures.
