Job summary
Tyson Foods in Sherman, TX is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, maintain and repair production line equipment while supporting safe operation and adherence to policies. You will set up, adjust, and break down machinery, and learn Tyson SAP for preventative maintenance and daily logging.
The role requires at least 1 year of hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, PLC, welding, or related areas, with ability to lift 70 lbs and work up to 12
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in one or more: mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, PLC, welding/fabrication, or related areas.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
- Ability to read and write; basic math for measurements and calculations.
- Must be willing to complete required training and pass pre-employment checks.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment and assets.
- Set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery.
- Learn Tyson SAP software for preventative maintenance and to log daily activities.
