Job summary

Morgan Truck Body in Morgantown, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment and facility systems running reliably. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, perform millwright tasks, welding, and rigging as needed, and work with PLCs to minimize downtime.

Joining the team means embracing safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The role requires 1st shift availability, physical stamina, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate Degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must hold a current and valid state-issued driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety practices and comply with OSHA/NEC standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems on production equipment.
• Diagnose PLC-related issues and implement fixes.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other industrial equipment as needed.
• Read and follow work orders, instructions, and quality requirements.
• Handle hazardous materials and waste per regulatory and company policies.
• SupportMaintenance planning, preventive maintenance, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively.
• Be flexible to overtime, weekends, or holidays as required.
• Assist with continuous improvement and technical training.
