Job summary

Morgan Truck Body in Morgantown, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our production lines running smoothly. You’ll troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, perform millwright tasks, welding, and PLC diagnostics while supporting safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years in manufacturing maintenance, a HS diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license; an associate degree is a plus. This role requires lifting up to 35 lbs and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred.
• Maintenance experience: minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Valid state-issued driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Safety First: adhere to safety policies and OSHA/NEC requirements.
• Tools & Troubleshooting: use hand/power tools and electrical testing equipment to diagnose and repair.
• Electrical & PLC Skills: knowledge of AC/DC circuits and basic PLC troubleshooting.
• Equipment Operation: safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, basket trucks, cranes as needed.
• Working at Heights: climb ladders/platforms with fall-protection equipment.
• Technical & Quality Focus: read work orders and meet quality specifications.
• Environmental Compliance: handle hazardous materials per regulations.
• Teamwork & Initiative: self-motivated and able to work independently or on a team.
• Schedule & Physical Requirements: overtime, weekends/holidays; lift up to 35 lbs.
