Job summary

Dawn-Staffing-Solutions-Inc. seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing client in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. You will keep production equipment reliable and safe, performing preventive and corrective maintenance and troubleshooting complex systems.

Your role covers mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems with hands-on repair of motors, sensors, and drives, plus welding/fabrication as needed to keep lines running efficiently.

Qualifications

5+ years of industrial maintenance experience with either current apprenticeship enrollment or a Journeyman card.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
PLC troubleshooting experience.
Experience with VFDs, motor controls, sensors, and industrial control systems.
Welding and fabrication experience.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing and production equipment.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls-related issues.
Inspect machinery to identify worn, damaged, or malfunctioning components.
Repair or replace motors, bearings, belts, gears, pumps, valves, cylinders, sensors, and other components.
Troubleshoot electrical systems, motors, controls, and industrial machinery.
Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, manuals, and documentation.
Perform equipment installations, modifications, alignments, and adjustments as required.
Assist with equipment startups, shutdowns, and scheduled maintenance activities.
Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests promptly.
