Job summary

Instinct is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the team at our Lincoln, NE facility. The role focuses on general maintenance tasks and machine repair to keep production running smoothly, with opportunities for special projects and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities include responding to equipment breakdowns, coordinating with leadership to prioritize repairs, and performing PM activities when time allows. Must read schematics and ladder logic and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
• Driving Continuous Improvement.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and perform demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, modification, operation and maintenance of plant equipment.
• Respond quickly to production equipment breakdowns.
• Minimize downtime and keep production running efficiently.
• Coordinate repair tasks with Production and Maintenance leadership.
• Report unusual breakdowns to Maintenance Lead/Manager.
• Participate in special projects and PM activities when possible.
