Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatics; typically gained through technical training or experience.

• Ability to work with chemicals.
• Ability to wear a respirator, work in confined spaces, and follow lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Willing to certify on forklift.
• Participate in discussions on equipment, repair, and process improvements.
• Maintain safe, professional conduct at all times.
• Willing to work off-shifts and weekends; rotate on-call duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment and verify repairs are effective; clean area after completion.
• Train with associates on preventative maintenance; ensure completion of activities.
• Ensure equipment operates safely at all times.
• Keep preventative maintenance up-to-date and documented.
• Coordinate with contractors from start to finish; be present during contractor work.
• Complete all documentation as scheduled.
• Track major parts for repairs.
• Maintain 5S within maintenance areas; keep areas organized.
• Collaborate with team to gather maintenance items from receiving.
