Job summary

Parker is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to lay out and perform installation, repair, and servicing of plant electrical circuits, equipment, and instruments per blueprints and NEC codes. You will guide other personnel in maintenance tasks.

The role requires welding, pipe fitting, and the ability to work from schematics. Strong problem-solving and multitasking are essential for success in this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or vocational training or 10+ years practical experience.
• Experience with machinery function and operation.
• Knowledge of industrial pipe fitting.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Layout, plan and perform test equipment installation and repairs.
• Identify malfunctions in machinery and controls.
• Repair plant machines and equipment as assigned.
• Determine repair or replacement needs and required disassembly.
• Perform pipe bending, fitting and welding as needed.
• Build and assemble machines per blueprints.
• Operate power and hand tools safely.
• Schedule maintenance with affected departments.
• Perform preventative maintenance on compressors and stands.
• Other duties as assigned.
