Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support electrical and mechanical equipment in the site. The role covers installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment per safety standards.

The candidate will perform diversified duties across electrical and mechanical systems, including pneumatic and hydraulic components, with a focus on reliability and on-time delivery to customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in industrial/manufacturing multi-craft maintenance.
• Ability to use shop and hand tools, multi-meter, and Meg ohm meter.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient knowledge of preventative maintenance practices.
• Ability to work overtime or weekends on short notice as needed.
• Ability to apply basic mathematics skills.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Ability to work proactively and support other personnel and departments.
• Possess a professional attitude.
• Ability to multitask and good time management skills.
• Maintain good attendance habits.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety requirements and participate in safety activities.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, drives, transformers, and electrical equipment.
• Disassemble/reassemble equipment with precision measuring tools.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and PM scheduling with SAP.
• Assist production during downtimes and changeovers.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Record data and report maintenance activities.
