Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs seeks an experienced maintenance technician for our onsite facility in Hattiesburg, MS. The role focuses on electrical/electronic and mechanical maintenance across process machinery, with duties including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance.

Expect hands-on work with DC servo motors, CNC controls, and Fanuc robots. The ideal candidate has strong PLC programming skills, familiarity with HMIs and electrical theory, and a proven track record in a fast-paced

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; relevant experience accepted.
Minimum 4 years diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment, or 2 years plus an Associate's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronic Technology.

Responsibilities

Provide electrical/electronic and mechanical maintenance support for process machinery.
Perform repairs and diagnostics on machinery, equipment and controls; conduct thermal scans and vibration analysis.
Maintain and troubleshoot DC servo motors, CNC control, and Fanuc robot systems.
Program knowledge of PLCs and maintain AC/DC circuits and power supplies.
Record downtime and work with Engineering/EHS to resolve issues.
