Job summary

Franklin Display Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our Belvidere, IL manufacturing site. The role requires hands-on maintenance of industrial production equipment with a focus on mechanical/electrical/sensor systems and 480V, 3‑phase power.

You will diagnose failures, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and support safe, efficient operations while documenting work and coordinating with supervisors and operators.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including 480V, 3-phase systems.
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial controls.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and use diagnostic meters.
• Commitment to safety, OSHA LOTO procedures, and safe work practices.
• Welding, fabrication, or HVAC experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Respond to breakdowns and restore production quickly.
• Install, start up, modify, and improve equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate status to supervision.
