Job summary

Mariana Minerals is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day maintenance of process and utility equipment at the East Texas Lithium One facility. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, respond to equipment breakdowns, and support reliability initiatives per specifications and SOPs.

The role requires working across plant areas with minimal supervision, flexibility for off-hours, and strong coordination with maintenance teams to ensure safe, efficient plant operation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in chemical processing, water treatment, mining, or manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
• Experience troubleshooting pumps, motors, valves, and other rotating/processing equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, P&IDs, and equipment manuals.
• Experience using industrial hand and power tools.
• Basic lubrication and preventive maintenance understanding.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, valves, conveyors, blowers, compressors, and related equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns, diagnose root cause, and perform timely repairs.
• Electrical troubleshooting including motor starters and control circuits.
• Read orders, blueprints, P&IDs, and manuals to guide maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and parts usage.
• Support start-up/shutdown activities and plant reliability programs.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and adhere to safety procedures.
