Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours and/or extended hours.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic.
• Excellent people skills and communication, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical systems of plant/production machinery.
• Follow safety policies and report issues immediately.
• Inspect equipment and disassemble/repair bearings, seals, gears as needed.
• Complete paperwork neatly and accurately per company guidelines.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical problems using precision maintenance.
• Follow up with work orders to ensure proper repair.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Work with maintenance crew on projects in mechanical, fabrication, plumbing, welding.
• Comply with environmental, OSHA, fire and electrical safety rules and SOPs.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Read schematics and troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic systems, PLCs, and motors.
