Job summary

CHEP in Temple, TX is seeking a motivated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our plant team. This hands-on role provides exposure to equipment diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting in a stable production environment.

You’ll receive paid training, a starting wage of $21/hour, options for 1st or 2nd shift, and comprehensive benefits beginning Day One, including medical, dental, vision, and more.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in an Industrial, Automotive, Logistics or similar environment.
• Ability to read and write English; strong problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with CMMS and mechanical/electrical schematics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures in plant equipment including conveyors and pallet handling systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems; document results in CMMS.
