Job summary

Lineage is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician in Grand Island, NE to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and systems. You will work with an experienced maintenance team and may gain exposure to industrial refrigeration systems.

The role includes overtime, on-call rotation, and occasional weekend rounds. The position emphasizes preventive maintenance, documentation of activities, and safe operation of tools in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of maintenance experience or a combination of maintenance experience and technical/trade school training.
Experience in industrial, building, or material handling equipment maintenance.
Mechanical aptitude with hand and power tool use.
Basic computer skills and a stable work history.
Valid driver's license and willingness to commute within a 40–50 mile radius of Grand Island.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on facility equipment and building systems.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural issues to minimize downtime.
Assist with inspections and basic maintenance of refrigeration equipment (ammonia refrigeration experience a plus).
Operate maintenance equipment safely and document inspections and repairs.
Complete work orders and communicate concerns and repair recommendations to leadership.
Follow safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Work overtime, on-call rotation, and occasional weekends as needed.
