Job summary

The Meritex Company in Indiana is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to care for Meritex Indiana buildings, performing light repairs in common areas and tenant spaces, and coordinating with vendors as needed.

This role requires strong troubleshooting across trades, professional interaction with tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders, and the ability to work independently while upholding Meritex standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to multitask and stay professional with tenants and vendors.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain good tenant relations.
• Communicate building and tenant issues to supervisor.
• Meet with vendors/contractors to check project progress.
• Regularly inspect fire/life safety equipment and notify issues.
