Job summary

Mauser Corp. in Georgia seeks a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to install, repair, and maintain heavy equipment in a metal manufacturing environment. You will work with minimal supervision to keep production running smoothly and safely.

The role requires hands-on experience with welding, machining, PLCs, and PM programs; familiarity with ISO9001 GMP is mentioned; you will log labor in the CMMS and participate in on-call and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
2 years minimum maintenance mechanic experience in metal manufacturing is desired.
Knowledge of GMP/ISO9001 standards is helpful.
PLC experience is preferred.
Experience with welding, cutting, hand tools is a plus.
Experience in high-speed packaging, welding, and mechanical power transmission is desirable.

Responsibilities

Work with little to no supervision.
Clean and lubricate shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts of machinery.
Troubleshoot/repair machinery such as slitters, collectors, high speed welders, conveyors, and palletizers.
Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other related equipment.
Building maintenance including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep.
Repair electrical issues as they arise.
Familiarize yourself with CMMS system and log labor/parts according to established expectations.
Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and off-shifts as required.
Participate in on-call program and may be required to work additional hours on off shift.
Understand safety, PPE requirements, and safety policies.
