Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America in Flagstaff is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining plant systems across facilities, unloading, processing, packing and warehouse operations, with emphasis on reliability and safety.

You’ll troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment, use test gear like multimeters and megohmmeters, perform predictive maintenance, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6+ months of maintenance experience in manufacturing or related environment or a 2-year technical degree completed.
• Willingness to work all shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and instrumentation systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls such as motors and PLCs.
• Use test equipment including multimeters, megohmmeters and process simulators.
• Repair gear reducers, conveyors, chain elevators and packaging equipment.
• Maintain wastewater and boiler systems, cooling towers, and building needs.
• Complete predictive maintenance like vibration analysis and oil sampling.
