Job summary

Prysmian Cables and Systems Usa is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Indianapolis to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery. You will read blueprints, interpret schematics, and work with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to ensure safe, efficient operation.

The role requires experience in fast-paced manufacturing, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Repair or replace broken components of machinery and equipment.
• Install, wire and commission electrical panels and field devices.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems including power distribution, control panels, relays, and motor controls.
• Identify root causes of electrical failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams.
• Operate machinery after repairs to verify functionality.
