Job summary

Prysmian Group is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for night shift to repair and maintain production equipment. You will perform welding, plumbing, bearing replacement, seals, shafts, and major mechanical overhauls, plus building and grounds maintenance.

You will keep accurate time and material records and adhere to 6S standards while following Prysmian safety rules. Responsibilities include routine and complex maintenance of plant machinery, inspecting equipment, and planning fixes to ensure safe,

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years' experience in industrial mechanical maintenance, machining, welding, hydraulics & pneumatics.
• Must be able to use a variety of power tools.
• Must be able to read diagrams and blueprints to evaluate procedures being followed.
• Well organized and capable of working in hot, cold, dirty, and fast-paced environments.
• Self-starter yet able to take orders as directed.

Responsibilities

• Works as part of the Maintenance department.
• Provide routine and complex maintenance to the facility of machinery.
• Inspects machinery for issues and develops a plan on how to properly fix, install or assemble equipment and ensure it operates safely and productively.
