Job summary

Ostara seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain industrial machinery and equipment,” utilizing hoists, lift trucks, hand and power tools. The role moves, assembles, installs, or dismantles machinery, and troubleshoots electrical and mechanical issues to repair or replace parts as necessary.

The position requires reading blueprints, safe tool handling, and adherence to safety policies (LOTO, PPE). Four years of related experience or an accredited apprenticeship is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational/millwright/welding cert preferred.
• At least 4 years of related industrial mechanical experience or completion of an accredited apprenticeship.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment in industrial environments; 3+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain industrial machinery and equipment using hoists, lift trucks, and hand/power tools.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems; repair or replace parts as needed.
• Ensure compliance with PPE, LOTO, hot work, and other safety policies.
