Job summary

Copper and Brass Sales is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment. The role operates on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The site requires a HS Diploma or GED and a technical certificate or degree is preferred. Night shift hours are 10:00pm to 6:30am, Monday through Friday, with a pay range of $24.00 to $28.00 per hour plus a $0.75 premium for third shift.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate mechanical and technical aptitude in an industrial setting.
• Read and interpret blueprints/shop drawings.
• Capable of using basic measurement tools and data entry.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and similar problems on machinery/equipment and perform timely repairs on all equipment.
• Establish appropriate preventive maintenance routines and perform scheduled activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and comply with health, safety, and Lean initiatives.
• Supervise contractors for external mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance.
