Job summary

Kemps is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Cedarburg facility on the 3rd shift (9pm-7am, rotating schedule). Responsibilities include maintaining production assets and ensuring machinery operates across electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Starting pay is $37.21/hour with a benefits package including 401(k) with company contribution, paid vacation/holidays, career growth, uniforms, and employee rewards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years field related experience preferred
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Minimum one year experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facility, preferably food and beverage
• Minimum one year experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, PLC and/or HVAC
• Minimum one year experience with lubrication, cleaning, material handling, motor control, relay control, process control and packaging equipment
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
• Must be able to handle basic hand tools
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend for the shift; may climb or balance
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Must be able to work in a cold, wet environment with moderate to high noise volume
• May experience exposure to fumes, airborne particles, chemicals or allergens
• Willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to read, write and speak English

Responsibilities

• Care and maintenance of all property and production assets
• Ensure continued operation of machinery and equipment across electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Complete planned and unplanned maintenance on production, packaging, processing equipment and utility systems
