Job summary

Kemps has immediate job openings for skilled plant maintenance mechanics to care for all property and production assets. This role ensures continued operation of machinery and equipment across electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic and hydraulic systems through planned and unplanned maintenance on production and utility equipment.

Starting pay is $37.21/hour with a rotating 3rd shift schedule. Benefits include 401(k), healthcare, paid vacation, tuition reimbursement and more.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years field related experience preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, criminal).
• Minimum one year in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facility, preferably food and beverage.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, PLC and HVAC.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a cold, wet environment with moderate to high noise.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production, packaging and processing equipment.
• Ensure reliable operation of utility systems and machinery.
• Complete planned and unplanned maintenance tasks on site.
