Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) seeks a Maintenance Technician for our Dallas area plant. This on-site role supports a three-shift production schedule at the Box Plant, focusing on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems to keep production running.

The job emphasizes teamwork, safety, and preventive maintenance. A technical degree in mechanical or electrical trades is a plus; 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience is preferred,

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• Mechanical or electrical trade degree is a plus.
• Experience in maintenance of plant equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild or replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
• Work as part of a team to safely perform preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns in a production environment.
• All maintenance technician positions are multicraft and training is provided to develop these skills.
