Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our North Haven, CT box plant. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.

You will work as part of a team to safely perform preventive maintenance and respond to breakdown calls in a production environment. A technical degree in mechanical or electrical trades is a plus, with opportunities for training and growth

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery.
• A technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical trades is a plus.
• Experience in corrugated packaging or printing industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, or replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
• Work as part of a team to safely perform preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns in a production environment.
• All maintenance technician positions are multicraft and training is provided to develop these skills.
