Job summary

Flint Group Packaging Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair, maintain, and upgrade manufacturing equipment. The role emphasizes electrical and multi-craft maintenance, supporting production with preventative tasks and equipment upgrades.

The candidate should have strong problem solving, safety awareness, and the ability to read schematics; training will be provided for new technicians as needed.

Responsibilities

• Repair or install manufacturing or facility equipment to insure effective operations
• Multi-craft responsibilities with emphasis on electrical; mechanical and preventative tasks
• Perform maintenance service or repairs in general machine service, electrical and mechanical repair, welding, and HVAC
• Maintain equipment function, perform preventative maintenance, and support production set ups
• Read and follow mechanical and electrical schematics
• Use root cause analysis to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical failures
• Understand program logic and electrical control systems; assist in design of new equipment or systems
• Train new maintenance technicians when required
• Work with limited supervision in a multi-craft environment
• Fabricate replacement and new parts for machinery using machining equipment
• Operate powered industrial trucks
• Annual training on Hazardous Material/Hazardous Waste depending on assignment
