Job summary

GCC is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment at our cement and aggregate operations in the United States. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, and lubrication practices, and can read blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years millwright mechanical experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of concrete and sand and gravel plant components.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, boiler and air systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.
• Construct/assemble sand, gravel and concrete plants and perform maintenance.
• Inspect equipment and complete inspection reports.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas.
• Lead maintenance projects or crews when needed.
