Job summary

JBS USA in Michigan is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems around the production area. The role includes developing maintenance programs and training the maintenance team to sustain equipment reliability.

You will collaborate with the Corporate Engineering controls team on technology-based projects and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety programs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in an industrial production facility or trade experience preferred.
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus.
• Strong computer skills and safety-minded approach required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Develops and executes planned maintenance programs for equipment within and supporting production areas.
• Develops and executes training for the maintenance team to ensure proper skill level.
• Works with the Corporate Engineering controls team to plan and execute technology-based projects.
• Ensure compliance with Local, State and Federal safety programs.
