JBS Foods in Michigan is seeking a Maintenance Technician to construct, maintain and test mechanical equipment across production lines. You will identify parts, interpret drawings, and respond to equipment issues to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, communicating with production management, and completing tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Technical school or GED is preferred, and advancement opportunities are available within a growing manufacturing operation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment.
• General mathematical ability required to perform job.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
• Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures.

Responsabilités

• Construct, maintain and test mechanical equipment, machinery and components.
• Identify parts or machines needing new or replacement parts.
• Interpret drawings of equipment to properly adjust, maintain or repair machinery.
• Respond to requests by production area when mechanical issues with equipment have been identified.
• Communicate with production management to diagnose problems and determine potential mechanical issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Complete assigned tasks with accuracy and efficiency, in regards to time as well as resources.
