Job summary

Georgia-Pacific's Fletcher gypsum facility in Oklahoma is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join our maintenance team. You will troubleshoot, install, align, dismantle and maintain industrial machinery and electrical equipment, with emphasis on reliability and safety.

You will perform preventative maintenance, read schematics, and work with operations to meet production goals. Rotating 8- to 12-hour shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed; located at 16850 NE 135th St, Fletcher, OK 73541.

Qualifications

• Experience with installation, calibration, fabrication, and preventive maintenance in industrial settings.
• Experience interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems and related components.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, align, dismantle and maintain industrial machinery and electrical equipment.
• Install and align new equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and reliability tasks to improve uptime.
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Maintain maintenance logs with labor hours and findings.
• Work with operations to prioritize maintenance needs and meet production goals.
