Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain concrete pipe manufacturing equipment and fleet vehicles. This hands-on role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork on a busy production floor.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, coordinate external repairs, and complete repair documentation, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with safety protocols. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to travel to job sites as needed are valued

Qualifications

• Experience with maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and small engines.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance such as greasing machinery and vehicles.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to complete repair paperwork and manage purchase orders.
• Willingness to travel to different job sites as needed.
• Availability to work overtime when required.
• Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on concrete pipe manufacturing equipment, including small engine repair and replacement.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as greasing machinery and vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
• Replace machine parts as needed to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery within the manufacturing plant.
• Coordinate outsourced repairs with external truck repair shops as required.
• Complete all necessary repair documentation and purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor vehicle registrations and inspections to ensure compliance and up-to-date records.
• Work overtime as required to support plant operations and minimize equipment downtime.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and wear company-provided safety gear at all times.
