Jayes Tech LLC in Scituate, MA is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on concrete pipe manufacturing equipment, including small engines. This role requires hands-on troubleshooting, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to coordinate with external repair shops.

You will complete repair documentation and purchase orders, monitor vehicle registrations, and be available for overtime to minimize downtime.

• Experience with maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and small engines.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance tasks such as greasing machinery and vehicles.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to complete repair paperwork and manage purchase orders.
• Willingness to travel to different job sites as needed.
• Availability to work overtime when required.
• Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on concrete pipe manufacturing equipment, including small engine repair and replacement.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as greasing machinery and vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
• Replace machine parts as needed to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery within the manufacturing plant.
• Coordinate outsourced repairs with external truck repair shops as required.
• Complete all necessary repair documentation and purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor vehicle registrations and inspections to ensure compliance and up-to-date records.
• Work overtime as required to support plant operations and minimize equipment downtime.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and wear company-provided safety gear at all times.
