Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance preferred.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing/fabrication environments.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Practical experience with welding and fabrication machinery preferred.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on fabrication machinery, welding equipment, cranes, compressors, and other shop systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on various machines and facility equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs; document parts used and work performed.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify potential issues and safety hazards.
• Collaborate with production personnel to schedule repairs and minimize disruption to operations.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area, complying with safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting and implementing equipment or process enhancements.
• Perform building and grounds maintenance, including lighting, plumbing, and minor structural repairs.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
