Interstate Assembly Systems in Surprise, Arizona is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, repair of production equipment, and safety compliance, with strong emphasis on teamwork and independent problem solving.

The ideal candidate brings solid experience in HVAC, electrical work, fabrication, and rigging, plus PLC knowledge and CMMS proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years mechanical maintenance on equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in facility maintenance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fabrication.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly inspections and testing of fire extinguishers and eye wash equipment.
• Identify and correct minor repairs, upkeep, and overall equipment functions.
• Complete schedule of monthly inspections and preventative maintenance on overhead doors, cranes, and building equipment.
• Perform preventative and reactive repairs on production equipment.
• Repair and maintain forklifts and related equipment.
• Repair and maintain sandblast equipment and related components.
• Maintain compressor and air system; assist with repairs as needed.
• Weld and machine parts for repairs when replacement parts aren’t available.
