Interstate Assembly Systems is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Surprise, Arizona to ensure reliable operation of our facility. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, inspections, and timely repairs to production equipment and utilities.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have 4 years minimum of mechanical maintenance on equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in facility maintenance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fabrication
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems 480 volt and down.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing 2-5-ton overhead Kone bridge cranes
• Knowledge of Programable logic controllers (PLC)
• Strong Knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out procedures
• Knowledge of CMMS
• Knowledge of Rigging and Rigging safety

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing monthly inspections and testing of all fire extinguishers and eye wash equipment.
• Responsible for identifying and correcting minor repairs, upkeep, and overall functions of the equipment in the facility.
• Complete the schedule of monthly inspections and preventative maintenance on overhead doors, overhead cranes, building mechanical equipment, and company issued equipment.
• Perform preventative and reactive corrective repairs on production equipment.
• Repair and maintain forklifts.
• Repair and maintain sandblast equipment (blast pot, valves, dust collectors)
• Upkeep and repairs on compressor and air system
• Weld and machine parts for repairs if replacement parts are not ratably available.
