Saige Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Montezuma, IA to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve manufacturing equipment and facility systems. The role collaborates with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient production.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production machinery and plant equipment.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production-related maintenance issues.
• Inspect machinery and components to identify potential failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Work with motors, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, pumps, sensors, switches, and other industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical control systems, motor controls, relays, contactors, and related components.
• Assist with diagnosing and maintaining automated manufacturing equipment and production systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs.
• Complete scheduled maintenance activities and accurately document work performed.
• Follow established safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and other equipment safety requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and increase production efficiency.
• Work with outside contractors and service providers when specialized repairs or maintenance are required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Communicate equipment conditions, repairs, and outstanding issues with supervisors and other maintenance personnel.
