Job summary

IMMI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support IMMI/APLP operations by performing machine maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives across facilities. You will inspect and repair machinery, maintain equipment, and ensure safety and minimal downtime while coordinating with engineering and production teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, CMMS proficiency, and strong documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification or associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, or facilities maintenance.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, schematics, and equipment diagrams.
• Experience operating and maintaining powered industrial equipment; pass certification exams.
• OSHA safety training certification required or ability to obtain.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools; welding/fabrication is a plus.
• Competence with CMMS and basic computer literacy.
• Strong written and verbal communication for team coordination and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and prioritize maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
• Communicate maintenance status and issues to supervisors.
• Perform maintenance and installation of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, water, air, plumbing, and IT systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment to meet IMMI standards and regulations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions; replace faulty parts.
• Maintain maintenance records and work orders in CMMS.
• Support installation, calibration, and testing of new equipment with engineering and production teams.
• Plan maintenance activities with operations to minimize disruption.
• Ensure work complies with safety and environmental policies.
• Identify improvements to equipment and maintenance processes.
