Job summary

Dauch is seeking Maintenance Technicians to ensure continuous operation of our manufacturing equipment at Oxford Forge. The role covers preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and support for production through mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with industrial maintenance, reading blueprints, and strong troubleshooting skills. Safety is paramount; lifting up to 50 pounds and flexibility for varying shifts including weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Proficient in mechanical, electrical (PLC a plus), pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Strong safety mindset and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance on all production machinery, including presses, furnaces, and ancillary equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems (up to 480V).
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate new machinery and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Adhere to safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Collaborate with production teams to understand equipment performance and maintenance needs.
• Assist in training junior staff when required.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and efficiency.
