Job summary

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, the ability to read blueprints, and hands‑on experience with welding or machining. A related degree or diploma plus 5 years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or high school diploma, plus 5 years of related experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, analytical, documentation, and computer skills required.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting experience required.
• Welding and machining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter work orders into computer systems, monitor work, and track parts in stock.
• Carry out upkeep and repairs on mechanical and physical structures from sketches or drawings.
• Set maintenance priorities, perform diagnostics, replace parts, and test equipment operations.
• Evaluate engineering equipment procedures for relevance and suitability.
• Inspect mechanical equipment to identify problems and participate in process improvements.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve problems and implement adjustments.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to improve output while ensuring safety.
• Perform operations to maintain workflow and meet schedules and quality requirements.
• Keep work area clean and follow safety protocols.
