Job summary

Sofidel America of Gila Bend is seeking an Electronic and Instrumentation Technician for a long-term position in a stable environment. You will apply technical expertise to improve efficiency, product quality, and cost effectiveness of our operations.

The role covers preventative electrical maintenance, PLC/DCS programming, system troubleshooting, installation of instrumentation, and collaboration with contractors to enhance plant technology while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Analytical and technical skills required.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and computer skills required.
• High school or equivalent is the minimum; an associate degree preferred.
• Industrial manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports GMP/HACCP to promote a safe, sanitary workplace.
• Works from instructions and work orders; communicates between shifts.
• Input work orders and track parts in inventory.
• Provide preventative electrical maintenance and troubleshoot instrumentation.
• Program monitoring systems and monitor performance data.
• Install cables, conduit, and instrumentation for new equipment.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors to improve efficiency and safety.
• Read electrical schematics and stay updated on new technologies.
• Assist in on‑the‑job training of others.
