Industrial Maintenance Technician - Indianapolis, IN (Finance)

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician at Honeywell, you will provide advanced technical support and expertise to our customers in the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting complex technical issues, ensuring successful solution implementation, and driving customer satisfaction. You will report to the Field Service Engineering Manager and work out of our Indianapolis, IN location, impacting the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our customers' operations through exceptional technical support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for customers.
• Provide expert-level support for Industrial Automation (IA) solutions.
• Collaborate with teams for smooth solution implementation.
• Lead training sessions for customers and technicians.
• Stay informed on industry trends and suggest improvements.
• Hands-on experience with PLC systems, sensors, motors, inverters, control panels, hydraulics, pneumatics, and gearboxes.
• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance.
• Use CMMS to report work orders and breakdown data.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including conveyor systems, robotics, and ASRS.
• Adjust and maintain scanners, cameras, field buses, and printers.
• Replace or repair belts, chains, cables, and wear parts.
• Clean, lubricate, and calibrate equipment as needed.
• Follow job plans, procedures, and manuals.
• Maintain components like motors, sensors, relays, and encoders.
• Assist with troubleshooting electronics and PLCs.
• Perform maintenance on industrial robots.
• Create and close work orders using mobile devices and asset management systems.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Adhere to company standards and safety regulations.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Lift 25 pounds individually and 50 pounds with a team.
• Work above head for extended periods while standing, lying, or seated.
• Move safely in confined spaces, crawling if necessary.
• Climb and descend ladders and stairs frequently.
