BlueScope Recycling is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to work independently within established procedures. You will maintain and service plant and mobile equipment in the scrap yard, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

The role requires 3–5+ years of related experience and a high school diploma, with strong communication skills and the ability to follow procedures and safety rules.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of related maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on plants and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Operate, set up, and adjust machinery as needed; order parts as required.
• Document activities and work orders in the CMMS system.
