Job summary

Farmer Brothers is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform highly skilled mechanical and electrical maintenance on packaging and processing equipment in our Portland facility. You will troubleshoot, repair, overhaul and remanufacture plant equipment with minimal supervision, using precision tools and meters.

You will work the graveyard shift Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, and may have overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 5+ years journeyman maintenance in industrial equipment.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects; hands-on repair skills.
• Comply with SQF 2000 Code; safety and quality oriented.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and overhaul mechanical drives, motors, conveyors and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical drives and motor control centers using testing tools.
• Perform building maintenance and machine shop duties including fabrication and welding.
• Requisition parts, hardware, lubricants, tools and gauges as needed.
