Job summary

XPO Manufacturing, LLC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician II in Arkansas to troubleshoot, maintain and repair complex systems, and to plan and execute installations. The role requires electrical work, conduit installation, and readiness to respond to emergencies.

Candidates should have 5 years in industrial maintenance or related trades, with knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systems, plus a valid journeyman license. Welding and Office skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience in industrial maintenance or HVAC/mechanical/electrical trades.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery.
• Licensed journeyman or above.
• Ability to read caliper, micrometer, and various measuring instruments.
• Ability to track preventive maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair complex systems and equipment in one or more assigned areas.
• Perform electrical work, run conduit, pull wire, and make final connections in panels, motors, and disconnects.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems in all equipment.
• Plan new installations, order supplies, parts, equipment and materials for projects.
• Respond to emergencies and callouts as required.
• Coordinate and monitor work of Maintenance Specialists and Technician I to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Operate specialized equipment and vehicles.

What you’ll need to succeed as an Industrial Maintenance Technician II at XPO

• 5 years of related experience in an industrial maintenance role or equivalent experience in HVAC, Mechanical or Electrical trades.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery.
• Licensed journeyman or above
• Ability to read a caliper, micrometer, and various other measuring instruments.
• Ability to track preventive maintenance schedules.

Preferred qualifications:

• Ability to weld and fabricate.
• Knowledge of record and file keeping

Industrial Maintenance Technician IIare required to:

• Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally
• Safely walk and stand for extended periods of time in a facility that is not climate-controlled.
• Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel.
